Cookie Policy
Effective Date: October 15, 2026
At Ecstaticloud, we believe in transparency down to the bit level. This Cookie Policy explains how and why we use cookies, local storage, and edge-caching mechanisms on our marketing domains and enterprise dashboards.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small cryptographic tokens or text files stored by your browser. In modern web architecture, we also rely heavily on HTML5 LocalStorage, SessionStorage, and Edge-Network headers to maintain state across our highly distributed applications.
2. How We Use Them
We strictly limit our use of cookies and storage mechanisms to the following critical operational requirements:
- Authentication & Security: We use secure, HTTP-only, SameSite cookies to securely store JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) when you log into your enterprise dashboard. These are mandatory for Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cannot be disabled without breaking the platform.
- Edge Routing & Load Balancing: We use temporary session identifiers to ensure sticky-sessions across our Kubernetes ingress controllers. This guarantees that your WebSocket connections remain stable during high-throughput metric streaming.
- Performance Telemetry: We collect anonymized Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and synthetic monitoring data to optimize our CDN edge nodes and ensure we meet our sub-10ms global latency targets.
3. What We DON'T Do
We are an infrastructure company, not an ad-tech company. Therefore:
- We never use third-party tracking cookies (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads) on our enterprise dashboards or infrastructure control planes.
- We never sell your session data or telemetry to data brokers.
- We never implement cross-site tracking to follow your engineers around the internet.
4. Managing Your Preferences
Because we only deploy cookies that are "Strictly Necessary" for the secure operation of our infrastructure and load balancers, we do not provide an opt-out mechanism for these core tokens. If you wish to reject these tokens, you must configure your browser to block them natively, which will render the Ecstaticloud Enterprise Dashboard inaccessible.
